Rick Dangerous Crashes?

On the pyramids level, you need to recover the jewel of Ankhel. When i find the jewel i get Exception Error and the game crashes with the message:

Error

DATATYPE_MISALIGNMENT, at 0x8b0000

Has anyone else had this problem?
