Battery chargers and adaptors

Was on hol in France recently, and left SPV charger at home (d'oh!) so had to run into the nearest Orange/France Telecom shop every few days to get battery charged. Looking on ebay for a travel battery charger resulted in the "battery extender" product listed here http://www.stores.ebay.co.uk/pdaaddons/pli...ml?col=2&dir=-1

Are there any other similar chargers for SPV that might be a little smaller? The "battery extender" looks MASSIVE in the pics. Maybe even a wind-up one like this one? Does the XDA have the same connector as the SPV? If so could I use the "battery extender" listed here? http://pc-mobile.net/xda.htm (item PX2B in the middle of the page)...

...and continuing from that could I use an XDA keyboard with the SPV?

Yes but as for the keyboard? remember the SPV has the connector the

oposite way round so plugging it in to an XDA keyboard, it would be facing the wrong way.

I bought A battery extender from PDA add ons on ebay. It has the O2 connector so probably will not fit other devices. For some reason it does not work with the XDA II but does the XDA. I have both and the adaptor for the mains charger fits and works with both. So I need to find one that works with the XDA II. Can anyone help?

On the question of size, I did not think it was to gig considering it has to hold 4 AA batteries. I would much rather carry this than the mains charger as I always carry a battery charger and re-chargeable AA's :)
