Eleksen keyboard drivers for MS Smartphone available for do

It looks like the drivers are available for download only (???) from PPCW.Net web site (we couldn't locate the download link at Eleksen):

The drivers for the Eleksen soft keyboard will ONLY work with HTC smartphones that have certain changes added into their ROM Code.

These changes are incorporated into all Orange ROM Code versions 1.3.7 and higher.

I do not know what version number ROM Code it might be for the Phillipine's SMART Smartphone.

But I do know that any Orange E100 devices will have these RIM Code changes.

Orange UK SPV customers can get the 1.3.7 ROM Code changes by using the Orange Update program on their SPVs. I am less certain about the ROM Code version available from other countries - except the Swiss, of course! :-)

I am an Orange customer in France. I have owned the ElekSen keyboard for about 1 month now, having purchased it from Orange in the UK. Unfortunately, I was not aware of the problem with the drivers when I made this purchase.

I have downloaded and installed the driver from PPCW.net, and it installed fine (once I unlocked the Orange security on my phone), telling me that the cab file was succesfully installed. However, the keyboard does not work.

I am in e-mail contact with ElekSen, but they tell me that I rave the wrong ROM code, and that Orange France have now decided not to make the keyboard available in France. I am advised to oad the correct ROM code to the SD card and then install on my phone, following which the driver I have should work. However, I have no idea where to get the correct ROM code, and equally no idea how to install it from the SD card.

Can anybody shed any more light on this situation ?
