my smartphone is 0.99version. i follow the instruction provided by the site, but it is not working, the retrieve unlock code, stop 0% never moved. i wait almost 10 minutes,still 0%. how can i solve problem.

The unlock program only works with bootloaders v.93-98 - so you are out of luck!

You might try to contact the programmer of the unlock program, and see if there is an update on it's way!?

Seing you have bootloader 99 - I asume you own a Tanager - I'm not sure if you can downgrade the bootloader to v.98!?

Either way, you need to talk to an expert :oops:

(guess you can downgrade your bootloader, but as I don't own a Tanager and this can be a risky operation, better ask in this thread first where Tanager users will be able to help you)

I found a way to SIM unlock the TANAGER even if over v0.98.

1.- Hard Reset and Erase IPSM

2.- Remove battery for 30 seconds (don't count, watch your watch!)

3.- Hard Reset and let go to CANARY 3 colours screen

4.- Run "Canary_RUUv0.32_CEv1.36.22_ORG_CH_SHIP_no.smartphone.exe" attached which will upgrade the phone "downwards"

5.- When upgrade finished, Hard Reset and let go to CANARY 3 colours screen again

6.- Proceed with the "old" SIM unlock program attached

7.- Write down the SIM unlock code

8.- Hard Reset and let go to CANARY 3 colours screen

9.- Run "spv_15003.exe" to really upgrade the phone (SWISS version)

10.- When upgrade fully completed, switch off the phone

11.- Insert another's provider SIM card and switch on the phone

12.- Enter the SIM unlock code when asked

That's it!

by the way, all program have to run on windows xp, windows 9x can not run it.

PS: You can in fact downgrade bootloader ONLY. Using USBterm and downloading BOOT.zip from authors website which has all 3 bootloaders in it.

You need to have WinHEX and SD reader/writer for this.

I tried a way tu unlock the phone whithout loosing all your personal settings. It's a little faster and you don't have to reinstall your sounds/skins/games/etc again.

1.- Put the phone on the craddle

2.- Hard Reset and let go to CANARY 3 colours screen

3.- Run the "Canary_RUUv0.32_CEv1.36.22_ORG_CH_SHIP_no.smartphone.exe"

4.- When finished, restart your phone with Hard Reset and let go to CANARY 3 colours screen

5.- Run the "old" SIM-Unlock program and write down the 8 digits code

6.- Hard Reset and let go to CANARY 3 colours screen

7.- Run the "spv_15003.exe" uprade

8.- When finished, insert another's provider SIM card and switch on the phone.

That is the only way you can actually unlock it - by starting up with a non-orange sim. But you will need to use USBterm and downgrade Bootloader ONLY by using guide/info in the link I posted above.

Sure!

If you've got the phone locked by a provider, just insert any other provider's SIM card and you will automatically get a message asking you to input the SIM unlocking code.

Before doing anything to your phone, you can simply try this by inserting a SIM card from another provider. After switching on your phone, you'll see appear the message asking you for the SIM unlocking code.
