Matrix screensaver - small update...

Well, I got my SPV recently, so I thought I might as well look into the dev side of it... First, let me introduce myself... I'm Chris, 16, and come from Norwich.

Anyway, I saw the massive thread on the Matrix screensaver by motbe, and tried it out on the phone. As you all know, not all of it can be seen - due to the small screen size. And half of the last column is chopped off. So, I changed a few things, and reduced the sources to about 80% of it's original size.

Check it out here

It looks pretty cool in my opinion... hope I'm not infringing on any copyright laws! What do you guys think? To try it, just make it an EXE and put it somewhere it can be run. If you want to replace it with the PocketCandy default matrix screensaver, cruise to your IPSMProgram FilesPocketCandyScreenSavers dir and replace the file.

moo! :D

cheers - I've changed the image a bit so the matrix code is red.. it looks quite cool. I tried blue as well, but the SPV screen makes it look more of a green, so...

Sounds good. Yet to try it. Can you make it available in different colors?

Nice work Chris! .. Nope, no infringement here! I ported it from someone else's code myself! (I think that code's been ported four times now, Linux/Unix->Windows->PocketPC->SmartPhone)...

You can hack on my Gapi version of it that I'll be releasing soon! Hopefully that one ends up even smoother than the current GDI based one....
