Guest NickB&SPV Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 (MAKE A COPY OF ALL FILES THAT WILL BE EDITED BEFORE STARTING !!!)I downloaded LCDAnalog and the LCD Plug-in and installed them. (LCD plug-in the storage card) Then copied out LCD Analog XML file and Analog folder (containing the ini file) to my Documents on the computer. Opened e.g Misty2 XML in wordpad and removed the calendar & event plugin. (Taking a note of the height of both plugins). Then opened LCD XML and copied the LCD plugin from the XML and copied to Misty2 XML where the original calender plug-in was. I then moved the "profile" to where the "event" was displayed and "missed calls" down a bit by adjusting the height in each plug-in (this is where making note of the height on the 2 deleted plug-ins come in). I then copied the ini file to another place e.g. My pictures folder so that this could be edited. Copied Misty2.jpg main homescreen picture to my pictures, then I just used paint to cut a square from the calendar area from the Misty2 jpg and saved it as Misty2_agenda2_over.jpg. Then opened the ini file and edited the "agenda" part to the Misty2_agenda2_over. jpg. instead. Then created a folder Misty2 and put Misty2_agenda2_over.jpg and the ini file into it. Then in the XML file you have to keep tweaking the "textrect" numbers TWYX told me the order was left, top, right, bottom this to get the appointment text to fit correctly in the box. (the third number is 176 I think, this needs reducing to about 95 to fit the Misty2 area) The "x" co-ordinate moves the graphic box to the left & right. Copy the Misty2 folder to IPSMAppliacation DataHome along with XML. It is just a matter of tweaking the numbers and applying the homescreen to the phone until the desired result is acheived. Hope this helps a little. If you go to Misty2 with Scrolling Appointments you can get the edited XML file and ini file to see what it looks like.
Guest drblow Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 Nice one m8! It should be cool to post the xml - it would certainly make it easier for everybody else to get to grips with it. If you are concerned about it, pm TWYX to make sure it's ok.
Guest NickB&SPV Posted June 21, 2003 Report Posted June 21, 2003 I will post all the files on Monday. I'm unable to get to a pc before then. This will make it more clear.
Guest Trancedancer Posted June 22, 2003 Report Posted June 22, 2003 Sounds GREAT!!! Looking forward to trying it on my phone too!!! I use the PlastX Home Screen, this would make it even better!!! *HENRIK*
