All software seems to be very COMMERCIAL (no surprise).. well SPV's just been launched so fair enough... BUT

If someone buys a product, surely they will be able to share it and sooner or later it will start appearing on P2P and warez sites???

Has anyone bought any software yet (I will not ask for it :D )??

And if so, is there some activation (like AllExplorer) via Internet, or serial No's that are verified online or some kinda crap like that??

The problem with OS is that it's bare and stupid (varying from 1 to 10 on stupidity scale)!! So good people develop software that makes it a more pleasant experience..

..and how can I forget about certification. BUGGER

I have many of the products, and like in the Pocket PC world, if you wanted to copy them, it would be possible.

However, also like the Pocket PC world, I don't think there will be much piracy going on. My reasons:

1) The market is not big enough for things to get easily spread (P2P etc.)

2) SmartPhone software is cheap

3) Anyone who trades / posts pirate software on this forum will be banned :D

Indeed!

And there is no way I was thinking of posting info on pirate soft in this forum, just my curiosity.. I am new to PDA's (only played with my dad's ones, but you know what it's like when it is not your - no interest really.

So now I am happy it is MS, not palm or anything else - coz the filesystem is very familiar and could be the case that soon you will be able to play GTA3 on the bloody phone

Anyway, 100% agree on BANNING issue with you. No pirate stuff in the forum!
