Guest crimminsky Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 I recently played a golf competion that was played using stableford rules and was looking round the Web for a handy stableford calculator that would work out your scores for you. I came across a web site that had a good one and I asked the site owner if he would modify it for the SPV. You can view the calculator at http://www.betchya.com/mobile.php He did the page originally with CSS but I understand that Pocket IE does not support this so he changed it back. I think he is currently working on making it smaller so you can view more than 3 holes at a time. I found it very handy working out 20 players scores in no time, I hope you all can find a use for it too.....
Guest midnight Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 well, it still uses css, and a 1px font????? hehe, oh well. PIE doesnt understand css so it just reverts to normal font sizes, which is fine, so you can still use css in websites, just remember that and classes will be ignored
Guest midnight Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 gonna write a tutorial about using css to display 2 different website layouts when viewed on smartphone or pc, clever trick and works well.
Guest crimminsky Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 OK Midnight. look forward to it. what would be even better if one of you brainy bods could come up with an app that did the scores so we wouldn't have to use the web
Guest madu Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 or just an HTML page to save on your SD
