Guest Trancedancer Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 I have a question about storing and listening to music on the Smartphone... I have lots of good music on my computer, Mp3-music...but most of them I have encoded in the highest quality variable bitrate Mp3:s...and those won't play properly on the phone. So I have decided to convert all the best songs again, just to have them on my SC-card and being able to listen to them on my phone. My question is, what is the best way to convert songs to Mp3...to get the best possible sound on the phone and to get as many songs as possible on the SC-card? Is it converting them into Mp3 128 kb/s, 160, or less than 128? Maybe Mp3 isn't even the best format to have on the phone to get the best sound and the most songs on the memory-card??? I would REALLY like some help on this from somebody who is good at this!!! *HENRIK*
Guest madu Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 There is *plenty* of information on this, I at least can think of 5 topics. Just search. On a quick note - WMA is known to produce similar results on phone at 64Kbps as MP3 at 128Kbps. OGG is also known to be rather good. PocketMVP only plays OGG atm.
Guest Trancedancer Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Hi and thanks! I'll give it a try to convert into ogg or wma! *TRANCEDANCER*
