Guest madu Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 Was gonna post this ages ago, but anyway. When you hit the power button quickly and get the menu: power off, device lock, radio etc... Well, it goes from 1 to 7 and then you get "9 More" straight away - so there's no 8 8) PS: thought this should go in main for now. other mods feel free to move it now if you feel so.
Guest fraser Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 Cool, I can't believe hardly anyone has noticed this. I'm guessing an option was removed at the last minute. Voice dial perhaps...?
Guest Martin@Home Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 Bloody hell !! Never noticed that before  How did that slip through ???
Guest James Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 if you look you will see that the 'more' text is not in its usual place.( too far up) also the text does not line up with the others. good spot mate!
Guest b1uepower Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 ha.. never noticed that before :?
Guest midnight Posted June 23, 2003 Report Posted June 23, 2003 errr, sorry, guys, this isnt a bug, its deliberate  it keeps the common profiles on the first page, and the ones that you hardly use on the second, makes sense to me by the way, if you create your own custom profile it adds it to the first page :D

Guest madu Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Ok vindaloos, If you put it this way, I consider Normal, Silent, Meeting AND Loud to be most used profiles and everything starting Automatic is pretty much xtra and auto profiles. So why did they not include Loud (which is one of default main editable profiles) on the first page? No, it's not a bug (hence "-ish" bit) but it is an overlook by the guys. Nothing surprises us these days though...
Guest fraser Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Automatic is great! Normally it's "Normal", but when you have a meeting in the calendar, it automatically switches to "silent" for the duration of the meeting. Very useful.
Guest madu Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Meeting meaning that appointment is set to 'Busy'
Guest midnight Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 ah, but if you have it set to automatic then you have no need to go into the profiles list to change it, cos, well, its automatic
