Guest rikmartin Posted December 7, 2002 Report Posted December 7, 2002 I have bought this item and installed it, but I am slightly confused. The program does not seem to auto kick in when the SPV is idle (perhaps its not supposed to) I have got the start automatically set to on but still no joy Any Help Please Thanks
Guest Ilium Software Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 You should be able to start DockWare or DockWare Pro as follows: 1 - DockWare and DockWare Pro will automatically start running when the Smartphone is charging and has been idle for a few minutes. (The amount of idle time can be changed in the Setup options.) 2 - DockWare and DockWare Pro can be manually started by tapping the Programs button, then picking Accessories, then DockWare. Please let me know if that doesn't work or if we can answer any other questions. We'll be updating our site with the above info soon. Thanks, Ellen Craw Ilium Software
Guest rikmartin Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 Hi, I have the Dockware Pro version. I gone into the Setup options and chosen the "start automatically" option plus I have set the idle time to 2 minutes. The phone is connected via a USB/Synch lead but does not auto kick in. I can obviously manually start it but that defeats the point to me. Any help appreciated Thanks
Guest Ilium Software Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 The phone does need to be plugged in for DockWare to start automatically. The icon in the title bar should show the power plug. If you haven't already done so, please power off the SPV and then power it back on again once after DockWare has been installed. Let me know if that doesn't fix what you're seeing. Thanks, Ellen Ellen Craw Ilium Software [email protected]
Guest rikmartin Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 Hi, I reinstalled the software, this seems to have fixed it :D Thanks
Guest Raify Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Is there a way of adding your own photos to the list that dockware uses?
Guest HelloDave Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Just put all the pictures you want Dockware to use in its program folder with all the standard jpegs and it will find them.
Guest cepheus1 Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 It helps to make sure they are the right size first
