I wanted to install the golf demo but it won't let me cos i've only got 6% free. BUT... I haven't really got anything special on there, that's the problemo' :roll: Cheers for the help :lol:

You could wipe the one you have provided: you do not want to use any of the stuff on it again. Esp Rebound. I wiped a friends, (card she get with phone) but backed it up on pc in case she ever wanted anything back off it again.

Anyway, just use ActiveSync - Explorer to copy all files from 8MB Orange (Panasonic) SD to your PC. The card is in fact only 6MB when formatted. Have a search for advice on what card and where to buy it.

Guest abamara Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Take it out of the spv and stick it back in. The spv should detect it and you can look at what's on it. Then follow madu's advice above and use activesync-explorer to copy to your pc (what you like) and delete the rest.

It says 5% free but doesn't list any info on there. I'm stuck now !! And i'm stupid !! I only wanted to play the demo of the golf game !! Boohoo...

When i try and install the golf game, it says i only have 444 ?K of space left, which i assume is on my phone. How do i find out what space is left on my card and install the golf demo on there then pleeeeease. Sorry about being slightly dumb !
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Go to Programs // Settings // 9 // Remove Programs If you are lucky, you'll be able to see the programs you have installed on both your phone and your SD card here! And you can delete them! You might consider doing a Hard Reset and start all over! First programs to install on a 'fresh' phone would be Smart Explorer and Task Manager from Binarys! That way you will be able to keep track on your memory and install/delete/whatnot files very easilly! And as someone already stated, get a larger SD card. As BIG as you can afford really! There is a site that sells 256mb large cards for around £40 - and it's money WELL spent!
