Guest Bryan Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 I can't download the SMS tools from the link sent to my e-mail address by Smartphone. When I click on the link - http://www.smartphoneclub.net/DownloadMngr...d.aspx?id=83133, the site is empty and no option "Open", "Save", etc. appear. :?: :?:
Guest James Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Edit by Paul: We do not have permissions to post DAT software in the general forum. Welcome to the site... here you go mate........ just copy it to your phone and run it.
Guest spaniard Posted July 14, 2003 Report Posted July 14, 2003 Hi , I am getting same problem : can some one help me to get SMS Tools ? Where can I find it please. Thx
Guest James Posted July 14, 2003 Report Posted July 14, 2003 try posting the request in the DAT software forum.....
Guest niacin65 Posted July 14, 2003 Report Posted July 14, 2003 BTW, when using SMS Tools, when deleting all SMS messages, I then have to go into inbox, show folders, deleted items, and then EMPTY FOLDER...is that correct, or am I missing something?
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted July 14, 2003 Report Posted July 14, 2003 SMS Tools is a stand alone application, that can delete all items in your Inbox and in your Sent Messages. These two folders do not have the "Empty Folder" option, so this is where SMS Tools comes in hand.
Guest niacin65 Posted July 14, 2003 Report Posted July 14, 2003 I am aware of that. My point was there doesn't seem to be the option to empty the deleted items folder from WITHIN SMS Tools? Thet way it is configured, I still have to go back to inbox, show folders, then empty the deleted items that got deleted using SMS Tools....See my point? Ok it saved me manually deleting many messages, but wouldn't this have been a relatively easy option to include?
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted July 14, 2003 Report Posted July 14, 2003 Well seeing that function is already built into the phone software, I guess they didn't think it needed to be in SMS Tools as well... But I guess it would be fairly simpel to implement. Write them a mail and ask for a new function =)
Guest dmonbreed Posted July 23, 2003 Report Posted July 23, 2003 You'll find the file here... http://perso.wanadoo.fr/jeremyroy/utilities.htm
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 24, 2003 Report Posted July 24, 2003 That's the old version still works but not as good.
