SMS ID help wanted!

Hi all, whenever I receive an SMS on mu SPV it refuses to show the callers name in the 'from' field, just the number; '+4412345678' etc - despite them being listed in my contacts by name. As I have yet to memorise all my friends mobile numbers, this is getting a bit frustrating - any ideas people?

Contacts in address book must have numbers in +44 format.

if you already have them in the +44 standard (as above) make sure your contacts mobile number is under mobile in your contacts.

eg--go to contacts click on a contact of which the number doesnt come up, the mobile number should be +447897710321 (miss off the first 0 of the number and put +44) and next to it should be small m. Under this should be the same number with sms after it.

if this is not the case press edit (left softkey) and change the number into the mobile field.

if this doesnt work and you have checked your formatting like madu said im stuck :lol:

Thanks guys - it was because I entered my numbers without the +44 prefix - it's sorted now!
