Guest JoelRae Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Hi all, I'm trying to design a new home screen using the tried and tested method of finding someone else's, ripping it apart, and slowly putting it back together again  I've gathered that when you put your home.xml file in the home folder, it won't show up in the home screen settings if it's not valid code ... in this case, if you open the file through an explorer it loads it in internet explorer and points out the error. I've just changed mine a bit, synced it and it's in the home screen settings list. But when I select it, press done and then return to the home screen the round quartered timer thing comes up for a while, but then goes away and nothing changes. Any ideas?? Cheers, Joel
Guest JoelRae Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Hmm ... maybe I posted too soon ... I went through the code and although the changes were valid xml, they didn't make much home screen sense  Oh, for the ability to delete stupid topics
