Guest pinter75 Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 I have read a number of problems regarding Dial-up connection problems. If you are getting a long pause then ERROR Unable to place call, check your numbers. You have to enter an international dialling prefix (UK) 44, thus the area code you are dialling *MUST* not have 0 at the beginning. IE: 44 0845 123456 has to be 44 845 123456 Works for me :-) Steve.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Welcome to the site :) Cheers for that but that is the standard procedure for converting local numbers to international ones I'm affraid. For those who have not converted their numbers (UK) yet try out the contact reformatter found in the Articles section, it will convert all local numbers to the international one and in doing so removes the 0 for you ;)
Guest pierre Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Well, I got this problem now while trying to open an Internet' session. Any1 any clue for that?
