Guest TANKERx Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Guys, I wasn't going to ask this because you'll laugh but I figured, I'll ask anyway and if you laugh, well at least I've brightened up your day. I'm used to computers having two types of memory, Internal (RAM) and external (Storage). So, what I don't understand is when I look at the Resco Memory viewer it gives me more types. So, I was wondering if someone could tell me the relationship betweem Main, Storage and IPSM memory. Ta.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 I dont' have the Resco viewer (I use Task Manager) but they should be as follows. Main, this should be your physical memory that is used when apps etc run Storage, I presume it is refering to the Storage card IPSM, is the same as going to ProgramsSettingsAbout it's how much storage space is on the phone, this is where any apps homescreen etc are stored on the phone Also you won't be laughed at here, that's the whole point of this section. :)
