Guest dmmh Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 I am not using orange email. I signed up for it though, but I entered the details of my normail pop mail account. pop3.concepts.nl smtp.concepts.nl server requires autentication, so that's thicked in sending options. connecting via internet. internet set to use internet gprs is data connections. can receive email no problemo, sending dont work though any bright ideas?
Guest abamara Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 I think smtp should be smtp.orange.net
Guest dmmh Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 nah, why would I wanne do that? I can send email just fine on the same account on my computer, same settings. I dont wanne use orange, and I would like to use this account. it oughta be possible right? Or am I wrong?
Guest JabbaTheSlut Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 use smtp.orange.net and the normal incoming etc, e-mails will send from your concepts address using the orange outgoing server, a lot of ISPs etc dont allow remote outgoing to prevent spammers, eg pipex will only allow people to send e-mails from their native IPs
Guest dmmh Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 k, same problem occurs when I use smtp.orange.net. this is pretty odd....
