Tanager case on a Canary spv? is it possilbe?

hi all, i was wondering (due to the tanager lookin nicer than the canary) if it is possible to fit the tanager case to the canary version of the spv?

the joystick would rock, and the tanager just looks gr8 in comparison to the canary.

No dave, wldn't happen.

First, no one has ever really released the phone covers third party, so they can't really be bought (although search modaco, some have suggested it might happen)

however, tanager and canary have different physical layout, buttons are different and incompatible, so nope, not gonna happen.

i was under the impression the phones wer identical to each other, except for the case :)

Hmmm, the only thing I can see that would keep you from using a SPVx cover is the joypad .. but of course, thats an unfixable flaw ...

The keypad PCB is slightly longer on the Tan than the Canary, rendering them incompatable.

I would kill for just the SPVx joystick on my canary ....

I'm still asking God for those 3rd party covers every night before I go to bed ... :)
