Im goin away for the weekened so i finally decided to set my spv up for internet...and it works...kinda

Ive used these O2 contract settings:

Create GPRS connection

Description: O2 GPRS

mobile.o2.co.uk, web, password, 193.113.200.200, 193.113.200.201

Create proxy

Description : O2 WAP proxy

The Internet, WAP Network, 193.113.200.195, WAP

Create GPRS connection

Description: O2 WAP

The Internet, wap.o2.co.uk, o2wap, password

Create Dial Up connection

Description: O2 CSD

The Internet, 44, 7712, 927927, o2wap, password

Right, msn and email works....but IE doesnt! says site cant be found

also...i thought u had to use a differewnt smtp address to pick up email? i used the normal pop.ntlworld.com and smtp.ntlworld.com ones and they work fine :?:

That will probably only work for receiving email, I think you'll have to change the SMTP address to SEND mail.

What are you Data Connections and IE settings ?

Data connections should be 'Internet Connection:O2 GPRS' and 'WAP connection: O2 WAP'

IE should have a 'auto detect settings' ticked.

On O2 you can also try 'Internet Connection: O2 CSD' and 'WAP Connection: O2 CSD' to use a GSM data connection for both.

What addresses are you trying to connect to ?
