Guest Simon Desser Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 I know it's not at all important, but I much prefer the graphics that "Smart" have used in their ROM versions, as opposed to the ones used by "Orange". I think the "Smart" ones look classier and more "XP like" :?:Smartphone Graphics.jpg
Guest madu Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 YUP!! I second that!! And they are better made gif's with transparency - not a sh**y solid square.. :) Though I use Gradiation Longhorn Extras (I brightened them up a little though).
Guest midnight Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 i much prefer the ones in my homescreen thanks ;P
Guest XGEOX Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 Cool :) - where can i find those versions?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 They're the default MS ones :) (this is a demo of the kind of "tweaks" carriers will make to the default ROM images provided to them by MS, they can brand them how they like).
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 I prefer the default earpiece volume icon too :) And note that when you dial (on the compal at least), it says "SmartPhone 2002", and not "Orange".

Yeah, the "Smart" Rom does that too.

Guest XGEOX Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 :) hehe - Orange are just like that... so where can i get hold of the original ms ones?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted June 28, 2003 Report Posted June 28, 2003 I can pull them off my Compal and upload if you like?
