Guest mrmarcellos Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 Im looking for a roadmap of Belgium Can i put it on my SPV? Who knows if its possible?
Guest XGEOX Posted June 30, 2003 Report Posted June 30, 2003 :) LOL ...Agreed seriously though - yes it is possible, but how exactly do you mean? - as a simple image, or for use in a proper route finder program on the SPV? you could certainly put the image on there by scanning it in and reducing it, but im not sure about the other way..
Guest mrmarcellos Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 i want it or as a very nice sharp image or as a proper route finder program on the SPV?
Guest XGEOX Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 if you are looking for a route finder, you can do a search on these forums - i recall hearing about one here. As for the image - potentially you could have any sized image you wanted, and then use picture manager or ia album to view it - zoom in/out and pan across it. To put the image (i should think a high-q jpg is best) on your SPV, connect your phone to activesync, click 'explore' in activesync, browse to 'storage card>my documents', then copy the image from your PC to that folder. Ia album or Picture manager should see it. Then you can use one of those to zoom in or out and pan around the image.
Guest Jonny Boy Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 I tried this but the Picture Manager just showed me a black screen. Does the JPG have to be in a certain format (resolution/color depth etc)???
Guest James Posted October 12, 2004 Report Posted October 12, 2004 there is a max size for image files.... just try downsampling until it opens...(dont know the exact size)
