How to put the phone in test mode :)

Make urself a sim card (from a gold card or whatever :D look on the internet and u'll see what i'm taliking about) and put the network code 234-86 or 001-01:)

and have fun :(

I'm realy close to the simlock :(

Could you tell us a bit more about this test mode?

I don't have a small sized goldwafer to program so I can't test myself.

u have just to cut one :D

U can unlock this phone with a pic :( (to simulate we are the test card), but to much hassle. Now i'm working on a full solution

Do u know how the test card working?

To unlock the phone u have to put a pic between the phone and ur simcard and the pic will simulate ur sim is a test card, then the phone will leave the datas to pass :D And u can use the phone on any networt.

But i'm not happy with this solution, so i'm working on a software one!

So till then no more comments on the hardware solution for simlock :twisted:

Hi, i'm very interesting in ur "sim hacking" process... and i very sure u r very near to the unlock solution...well done!

I was very suprised when u said u need a PIC chip to work with... know what, i'm currently learning hard into the PIC microcontroller in my study... :D

Correct me if i'm wrong, what u r doing is:

1.Make a universal test sim using the PIC (read & write manymany times :( )

2.Put the test sim inside the spv and enter the test mode.

3.In test mode, u can actually view or (and) change the unlock code.

am i right?
