how can i enable my phone to use mms?

hello people i would firstly like to say hi as i am a new user.. :)

right the prob i am having is that i cannot connect to the internet or use sms on my new phone 6610.

my sp is vodafone corporate, i have rang them and they say that my number is not set up for this, however when the sim was in my old phone which i lost, t100 it worked fine..

is there anything i can do? tried doing a search on here and imputting the ip address on the mess settings screen but i still get a not saying check ip?

i know feck all about phones and im lost.

Have a look in the mms settings repository to check for your settings

if your phone is a Nokia 6610, I would try going to www.nokia.co.uk there is a configurator tool on their hompage to send you the settings for WAP/SMS/MMS/GPRS etc etc by SMS. It soulnds like you previously had these services on enabled to the SIM by your service provider so the Nokia site should sort it for you.

I was thinking of the Qtec phone but thats a 7070 :oops:
