MMS recipient details not automatically entered?

When I carry out the following:

Contacts --> Select contact --> select 'SMS' number --> select 'MMS' --> compose MMS --> select 'Send'

the To: box comes up without having the intended recipient details in the box. You need to add it as though you had just started composing an MMS without starting in the contacts list.

Mine seems to be ok with that. I just tried it and it seems to work ok.
