Settings on Windows Media Player

Anyone wokrd out how to save the settings in Windows Media Player ?

For the record (no pun intenede), from menu, select settings, from here i change repeat, shuffle etc. all useful options but it always defaults to these being off when I turn the phone back on.

Any suggestions ?
