Guest vampyre69 Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 I was just curious where people mostly access MoDaCo from.
Guest ricmoo2003 Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 I work from Home & have a 2meg ADSL, so i am on Modaco all day (Pesky Red Folders!) Oh i fit in a bit of work wherever i can..... one has to, keep the boss happy (He He!)
Guest yatpeak Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Definitely home the most, but at school also fairly often. Wyatt
Guest priccijr Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Home but I get my phone today and will give that a try.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Home, home and home. I don't have a pc at my new job :)
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 How about an 'everywhere' option? P
Guest vampyre69 Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Home, home and home. I don't have a pc at my new job :) So how do post things so quickly? and at most times of the day?
Guest yatpeak Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 vampyre69's got a point, you seem to always be on the boards... Wyatt
Guest vampyre69 Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 "]How about an 'everywhere' option? P Because it wouldn't really narrow down the result I access it from everywhere but mostly at work. Don't mind adding it though if you like, could be interesting to see who doesn't have anything better to do
Guest yatpeak Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 I don't have anything better to do, but I do have schoolwork that's neccesary to complete :) . Wyatt
Guest Will Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 working from home. and anytime out of office, using spv or clients pc!. And once (to sort a problem out for someone - honest). one of those web points at Victoria! Will
Guest casper508 Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 I think the word to note in the poll is 'mostly'. Hence an 'everywhere' option isnt there. I mostly access it from home and on an odd occassion from the SPV. Cas
Guest Syvwlch Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Mostly at work, also at home in the evenings if there's something good on TV, and tried once on the phone. Once. *hint hint nudge nudge*
Guest mashkhan Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Exclusively at work, last thing I want to see at home is PC's. It would be nice to access the site on my SPV.
Guest Devil Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 I agree - great site, from my work and home pc. Sucks on the phone though....
Guest Flash Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 "]How about an 'everywhere' option? P How about a 'with great difficulty' option? Seem to be having trouble getting onto this site recently :)
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Despite the problems recently.... I use my work and home PC to check up through the majority of the day, although i'm at my most active in the evenings at home (apparently my boss realised yesterday how easy my job actually is heh ;p) I'll only use my phone if i need to read or reply to PM's though.....
Guest vampyre69 Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 *hint hint nudge nudge* *wink wink* "say no more, say no more"
Guest yatpeak Posted March 22, 2003 Report Posted March 22, 2003 Lol, I see there are a few people on these board who like MPFC. Wyatt
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted March 22, 2003 Report Posted March 22, 2003 Probably 75% of my time here is thru connecting from home. I do try though to have a look at lunchtimes at work, but we have extremely poorly configured content scanning s/w and thus at lunchtime my work internet connection seems as if its via a 14.4k modem...
Guest Syvwlch Posted March 22, 2003 Report Posted March 22, 2003 right now, I'm connecting with a Tablet PC and WiFi on the porch... I' m writing this with the pen, in my usual cryptic handwriting and the recognition rate is such that I hardly ever have to correct it. This has got to be the best way to connect to MoDaCo. :)
Guest vampyre69 Posted March 22, 2003 Report Posted March 22, 2003 I have a wireless wide area network setup so that I can connect via telekenesis or using my wrist watch pc that has a wireless bluetooth GPS system installed so that when I'm in my car it can connect via the 803.62z standard with my blutetooth headset connecting into my mainframe solar powered server that runs via my wide area wireless network to my toilet roll holder at work so when im taking a *@*@ i can still access using my installed multifunctional toilet telecomunications system. If this fails and goes down my UPS kicks in giving me 1hr backup time that means i can access ofline mirrored server data. Failing that I have just purchased a MobileTeknologies 2005 smoke signal system. Nothing else like it I tell ya! :) Sorry
Guest Syvwlch Posted March 22, 2003 Report Posted March 22, 2003 x'D Nothing to be sorry about! l was showing off and walked into that one :)
