Guest Slohr Posted December 9, 2002 Report Posted December 9, 2002 Hi, Anybody else experiencing their SPV ending up “dead” when it reaches its fully charged state? It happens like 1 in 3 times for me, and there’s nothing to do but remove the battery for a while! I could live with this, since the major problem here, is that I can’t be reached in the morning, until I’m actually up and have rebooted my SPV :D BUT now this behaviour (I'm guessing that this is the reason) has totally FUBAR’ed my storage card: and there’s no way of cleaning it up since no action can be done on the files due to illegal characters: Does anybody know how to erase/format a storage card? TIA Slohr
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 9, 2002 Report Posted December 9, 2002 I don't know about formatting but if you delete stuff or have the files corrupted try using Final Data, it's a recovery program that recovers all files even deleted ones on the sd,mmc and any other type of drive cards. You do need a card reader though, I have just done a test and recovered all files on an mmc card I had. I used to use it with my digital camera as well. I downloaded the program from Tucows but some pc mags were giving a cutdown version away a few months back.
