Guest spvman Posted December 9, 2002 Report Posted December 9, 2002 i have copied (dragged and dropped) a load of wav files into the app data/sounds folder for use as ring tones / mail alerts etc and most are working fine (all good files and checked as working b4 i copied them) but a couple when selected play as the built in "alarm2" sound. Cant see why this is..anyone got any advice?? Its realllly annoying as the 2 wavs concerned are the best ones :D It had to happen didnt it..i mean i seem to be one of the very few who up until now had a totally bug free spv!!! Guest chewie Posted December 14, 2002 Report Posted December 14, 2002 Have you got Nero Wav editor? If so, open the file, then re save it with these settings. Channels: mono Bits: 8 Frequency: 32000 Then try it. It seems like there could be a problem in the actually WAV file.
Guest captain9fingers Posted December 21, 2002 Report Posted December 21, 2002 I had this problem after converting MP3's to WAV's Use Droopys wav compressor, read this: http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=1142 and choose "PCM" as the format then it will work
