Celsol Windows skin Modification

I've started to modify the celsol skin to an xp type, i'm only changing the images though because i haven't a clue how to code the xml, FULL credit is still due to celsol for this excellent skin.

However i have one question...

What format do i save the image files as, what quality GIF?

In photoshop when saving a gif i get the options:

Palette

Colours

Forced

Can anyone explain what i save as?

Attached is the main screen. If anyone has any ideas for improvements let me know
