Hello all,

1. Has anyone got a website where I can find music/chart tones in wav format?

2. What is the largest file you can have for a ringtone of good quality?

3. Is it worth putting all my wav files onto my storage card?

4. Is all explorer better than smart explorer?

Cheers

Just a few quick answers:

1. Plenty around, but a lot - commercial. Best of all take an mp3 and convert some part of it into a wav to make your ringtone. See other posts on converting wavs.

2. There isn't reallisticly. But the larger the file - the longer it takes to find and play it (occasionally) - so it only starts playing like on the 3rd beep. You wouldn't really need it to be more than 1mb pretty much ever.

3. I would keep the small ones in IPSM, but then I don't change them too often and don't have many. Large ones - definitely on SD since you only prob. have a couple of spare MB in IPSM.

4. SmartExplorer is better all the way!! It even has IR send/receive and email a file function. The rest features are similar. SE is _faster_ and has IMO better interface. Apart from that SE is free (but needs decert). I would rather pay a tenner for SE then £7 for AllExplorer. Mind you a new version of AllExplorer is coming out - which would have IR and email functions, but that's not the case yet.

You could also go to yahoo site with loads of ringtones for sale. Click on any to try them and then move them from your pc temp files to your spv sound folder for free. At least that's how I do it!
