Guest Danlance Posted December 11, 2002 Report Posted December 11, 2002 After installing ActiveSync, I noticed that a "Create Mobile Favorites" button / menu item had appeared in IE6 Anyone know what this does? Perhaps functionality only implemented on proper pocket PC devices? It just seems to act as a normal favorites folder - nothing seems to get copied to phone automagically (I know you can use the dca tool off the cd... but it would be nice to do it autmatic sync...)
Guest Scoobyroo Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Bump up to the top.... I was just thinking the same thing mate and was about to post a message. Luckily for me, I did a search first (Newbs... take note!) I just set up a mobile folder again and this time IE prompted me to select a time to sync (maybe because my SPV was synced at the time. Either Never, 9am weekdays, 4pm weekdays or weekends. I selected 4pm and will wait to see what happens. I don't hold out much hope though as a sync dialog box came up straight after I set up the mobile folder (a bit like the windows 'copying files' one) but there was nowt on my SPV after it had finished ;)
Guest rammy121 Posted February 14, 2003 Report Posted February 14, 2003 hmmm, i had the same thing 2. so, a quick trip to google "create + mobile + favorite". got this . . . . http://pda.scmp.com/setup_pocketie.html i guess this synch with mobile favs. is not 4 us as yet.... :?
Guest Bazz Posted February 14, 2003 Report Posted February 14, 2003 Nope it ain't for available for Smartphone yet. Presumably a future version of ActiveSync will allow it.
