Vibrate and Ring ? This can be done !

While trying to find out were to put my themes to get them to work ( if you know please help ) i came across this nice feature.

Go to settings, Profiles,Click menu and edit a profile.

Go down to Ring Type and you can select Vibrate and Ring !

Now that would be useful - but i cant see that anywhere....

You have to do it when the phone is not synchronized.

Click progams from the home screen

Click Settings

Click Profiles

Highlight the profile you wish to modify

Click the menu soft button

High light edit

Click the action button

Go down to ring type and press the action button

Selet what you want and press the done soft key.

No - didnt mean that - I knew how to do that - I meant an actual different ringtone - like when I am at work I just want a conventional ring tone - but I'd prefer something different at other times....

then... just make a profile called Work that you'll be using at work, and use another profile when ur at home? or am i missing something in your question?

Definition:

Ring Tone: what it sounds like - eg conventional ring / brahams lullaby etc.

Ring Type: Ring / Vibrate / ring and vibrate /ring then vibrate / ascending /none

You can (as far as I see) associate a ring type with a profile, but not a ring tone...

As it happens I have created a separate profile for work (low volume, vibrate then sound, no system sounds etc)

okay bro! see your point, well.... i simply didn't think about the fact that you cannot assign a specific ring tone to a profile of your choise.. but you're right, seems to be impossible at this point. that's a bugger now innit!

How about vibrate and one ring? Is this possible? It was useful on my 8210.

As I posted earlier, the vibrate and ring works for line 1 but not for line 2. On line 2 you can only have one or the other. Orange are aware.
