Guest spvman Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Lol cheers m8, followed that link and before I knew it my pc had just gone right ahead all by itself and ordered and downloaded 2 more programs!! Oh well I guess theres nothing for it but to install em and start tapping
Guest Will Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Could you post your thoughts on what you downloaded? Maybe we need a Reviews section?
Guest madu Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Can you tell us how that happens? I assume you go there,: -order -download -install and then? activate? serial? how is it sent to you? How does it all happen? thanks
Guest spvman Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 yeah the handango site is very easy to buy from - just place your order, enter details and then click the download now icon. I ordered from my pc and hence the download was in the form of an exe file which once downloaded you can install via activesync in under a minute!!! The first apps i bought were full hand casino which is good value considering its 3 games in one, tennis addict which is very playable and always draws a crowd over my shoulder when im playing it at work and slurp a simple but increasingly addictive puzzle game.. all entertaining games and recommended - try the trial versions!! When i revisited the site i bought Interstella flames and CodeWallet. ISF is a good game, if a little tricky to play but really is a showcase of what the phone is capable of graphiclaly and again certainly draws a crowd of green eyed Nokia owners at work (awwww bless 'em) . I bought codewallet as i have so many different passwords these days and my brain is beginning to lose track of em all + it can be used to store all sorts of other information. Its impressive in its options and comes with a desktop prog that allows you to customise it with extra sounds and images. For the money these apps cost i think i can say that they are all good value for money - no bloated symbian prices here thankfully!! So far the only program that has required a code (supplied at time of download) is CodeWallet but I havent actually found anywhere to enter it yet within the menu system and it seems to be fully functioning without it - i will investigate that one further. All the others are full working versions neither requiring registering online or within the program. Once I have had time to investigate these apps further and have some decent high scores to boast about i'll let you know some more details :D
Guest Will Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 Thanks MU, gald to hear everything works, good to hear you have nokia owners jealous! did all games install to memory card ok? or did some demand phone installation? Will
Guest spvman Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 All the stuff i have bought and listed in me previous post installs straight to the memory card with no problems at all. It really was an easy process. Next on the list is ListPro but as i have a burphday commin up on Sunday thought i'd wait and see what happens *nudge nudge wink wink* *grins at Paul* :D
Guest Wlodek Posted December 26, 2002 Report Posted December 26, 2002 I bought codewallet [...] comes with a desktop prog that allows you to customise it with extra sounds and images. ... and did you get the codewallet on the SPV and the codewallet on the desktop to synchronise? If you have, please post the details, I'll be very grateful as I cannot figure this out. Active Sync does not show me anything except for Outlook items .... Best wishes, Wlodek
