Interesting WMP bug...

hi everyone....

i just find out that if u got "space" in the audio filenames, the WMP can't detect or load the files... hmm... good work microsoft.... :D

Sorry if u guys have already knew..... :wink:

ermmm...

No problem here - files with spaces play fine for me...

Its not hidden or in the wrong place is it???

works OK here with spaces - you're sure there's no control characters in the filename?

I've had the same issue with MP3s not appearing in WMP on the SPV, and fixed it by renaming the files, as well. I assumed it was spaces, but it must be something else. Not control characters, i checked. Perhaps length?

You're sure you're loading files that Media Player recognizes? Some files show up in Windows as "MPEG layer 3 music file" even though they're in fact some bizarre RealPlayer file format....
