data connection problem

hi, my phone just hard reset itself.... :oops: :oops:

since it has re-started, in the settings/data connections menu, i have lost the option for "pass through connection"

anyone know what has happened and how to fix it

Did you upgrade the SPV software at any point.

no, the only thing i did was to de-cert it when i first got it.... the pass through connection has always been there, but since this "hard reset" it has disapeared .. not happy sob sob :)

Strange that because the 'pass through' option is not available on the 'Internet Connection' on the new 1.5 update. Not sure why your pass through has dissappeared on the old software.

Do you still have it available on the Work conenction ?

Goto Microsoft ActiveSynch - options- Rules

Change the Connection to 'Work'.

SPV data connection

Make 'Work connection: Pass through connection'

Internet explorer - menu - option - conenctions

Untick 'auto detect' and make 'Select Network : My Corporate Network'

i went to activesyne/option/rules.. and changed from work.. to internet...

the pass through connection has re-appeared in my data connections..

Would you believe it - it restores it in the SPV upgrade too. :)
