I have finally got myself NTL cable installed (600kbps!) at home.

What wireless devices can I buy to transmit bandwidth to my laptop from the NTL cable box?

Thanks!

if you have more than one computer that needs connecting to the internet you will need a router--like this one

linksys router

(there are many more just look on DABS or sumthin)

if you just want to connect your laptop you will just need a wireless hub--probs best getting the router as it will not cost much more.

linksys make good kit--netgear are also good but if your on a budget there are lots of non branded stuff out there.

(oh and keep an eye on your internet connection--NTL used to screw us regular in regards to bandwidth---if you phone up and complain everytime your internet is slow you may get an upgrade for free (we did))

go to here to check your bandwidth :)

I use the Belkin Wireless router and it works fine :)

The only thing I did do with NTL was to uninstall thier BB monitoring software as

I found it was very gready with system resourses.
