Guest craigblade Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 I've been having a problem with Windows Media Player - it's very slow to start up - it takes around 20 seconds. I discovered that if you take each individual media file, create a shortcut, and place all the shortcuts in one folder, then you can access them instantly. However, only the first file that you play back with have sound, then the rest don't. Any ideas on how to make the sound work on all the shortcuts? craig
Guest axe Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 I havn't tested what you are suggesting, but I recommend making a playlist with the playlist creator... it also launches instantly as opposed to starting up WMP and let it search all your files ... you can grab it from monolithx's site ... http://www.monolithix.org/SPV_software.html
