Guest mattscholey Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 I've been planing to get an SPV for about a month, and having just looked on orange.co.uk, where I intend to buy it, I discovered to my horror that the SPV is now 'out of stock'. I assume this is permanently out of stock, waiting for the new SPV E100 to come in. Other phone shops have been out of stock for weeks, and it appears the original SPV has been fazed out for the new E100. This is a problem for me, as I don't think it's worth spending about £150 extra for an E100, when all it offers over the original SPV is a brighter screen and bigger buttons. Do you think it was right for Orange to quit manufacturing the original SPV, and if you were about the buy an SPV, would you want to pay the extra for the E100. Matt

Guest eswjohn Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 i just got an spv yesterday, 30 quid on upgrade reduced to 24 , probably because they're trying to get rid of them!!! Any useful tips, hints etc greatly welcomed.
Guest mattscholey Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Yeah, I had noticed that on the Orange website, the SPV had come down in price on PM from £129 to £79, so they obviously want to get rid of them.
