Date/time on "Unloack" page

Hi All,

Does anyone know if it's possible to add the date & time to the "Unlock" page -- this is the page that's displayed when you press a button while the phone is locked.

The reason I ask, is that I very often want to quickly check the time, but often the phone has gone into standby mode and is locked. When I press a key to re-activate the screen, the "Unlock" page immediately appears and obscures the date/time on the home page.

Of course, pressing the "#" key will unlock the phone and uncover the home page, but then I have to lock it again -- this means 3 key presses just to see the time.

Any ideas?

You can just press cancel to see the time on the homescreen.

Of course, you're right... still, is there any way to add the time?

No way i know of. However tapping the power button when the handset is locked will turn the backlight on...

I've found that if you press the power button it lights up the backlight, the left soft key lights the backlight and tells you to press #, *BUT* the right soft key 'wakes up' the screen without the backlight - showing you the time on the homescreen. Ta Da!
