o2 Contract GPRS

His guys tried loads of these setings still haent got a winner has anoyone with an o2 contract sim in there spv got it working on the internet, msn messenger etc.

if some has please post details and if poss where to input them im still new to the phone and not used to it yet you see.

Have a go at these settings which should hopefully work for you :)

Goto Programs - Settings - Data connections

Menu - Edit Connections

Create proxy

Description : O2 WAP proxy

The Internet, WAP Network, 193.113.200.195, WAP

Create GPRS connection

Description: O2 GPRS

mobile.o2.co.uk, web, password, 193.113.200.200, 193.113.200.201

Create GPRS connection

Description: O2 WAP

The Internet, wap.o2.co.uk, o2wap, password

Create GPRS connection

Description : O2 MMS

Connects to Orange MMS, wap.o2.co.uk, o2wap, password

Create Dial Up connection

Description: O2 CSD

The Internet, 44, 7712, 927927, o2wap, password

Settings - Accessories - MMS setup

First field: O2 MMS

IP: 193.113.200.195

Port: 9201

Mmsc Address: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002

Settings - data connections

Internet Connection = O2 GPRS

WAP conenction = O2 WAP

Internet explorer

Menu - Options- Conenctions

Tick 'auto detect settings'

To test the Internet and WAP connections seperately

Check connections (use menu-refresh to re-load page if needed)

Int.Explorer - de-tick 'auto' and make Select network=The Internet.

-Successfully access http://www.google.com/wml site and use properties to comfirm Type=WML and protocol=HTTP

-Int.Explorer- de-tick 'auto' and make Select network=WAP Network

-Successfully access wsp://www.google.com/wml site and use properties to comfirm Type=WML and protocol=WSP

-Int.Explorer - tick 'auto detect settings' to allow either protocol to be used automatically.
