Help - cannot create new messages in Inbox

I'm having a bugger of a time trying to figure out why I can't create new messages in Inbox. Whenever I hit "New" or Menu->New Message, nothing happens. I've got over 4 MB of internal memory free, so it's not a memory issue. I can also send text messages using Orneta Notepad. I'm thinking that it may be a software issue - I recently hard reset my device (prior to that I had no problem with Inbox) and haven't tried sending any messages since then. I can read and delete message just fine, just can't create any new ones. I would hard reset again but for the fact that I've just painstakingly reinstalled all of my programs, home screens, and tweaks, and if I have to do it all over again, I will be very tempted to run my SPV over with my 4WD.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated. The applications I have installed are as follows:

Broken SMS is a common problem with hard resets that don't complete properly....only fix is another hard reset unfortunately. :/

Bugger. Thanks Monolithix, looks like it's back to the drawing board :shock:

btw - is there any software you can use to backup the phone (other than Orange Backup)?

You can use USBterm.exe to take full IPSM backup (to SD card), and then restore it. Theres a thread in Articles forum about it
