wap not workin

hello can anybody help i can't connect 2 wap, wen i try connectin 2 internet explorer it's say's dialing nd the G comes up in the corner but it does not connect it comes up as error unable to place a call

I am new 2 the spv phone so ned help how can i fix the problem

i'm on O2 pay as u go

Try these settings for O2 PAYG.

Goto Programs - Settings - Data connections

Menu - Edit Connections

Create proxy

Description : O2 WAP proxy

The Internet, WAP Network, 193.113.200.195, WAP

Create GPRS connection

Description: O2 WAP

The Internet, payandgo.o2.co.uk, payandgo, password

Create Dial Up connection

Description: O2 CSD

The Internet, 44, 7712, 927927, o2wap, password

In data connection make

Internet connection=O2 CSD (uses HTTP for HTML & WML pages)

WAP connection = O2 WAP or O2 CSD (uses WSP for WML pages)

Internet explorer

Menu - Options- Connections , Tick 'auto detect settings'

O2 WAP homesite is http://wap.o2.co.uk or wsp://wap.02.co.uk

The internet connection uses a GSM circuit for access to WML(WAP) and HTML sites using HTTP. The WAP connection uses GPRS for access to WML sites using WSP. When accessing WAP sites use WSP:// in the address and this will use the GPRS network.

You could also try setting up MMS :)

Create GPRS connection

Description: O2 MMS

Orange MMS, payandgo.o2.co.uk, payandgo, password

Settings - Accessories - MMS setup

First field: O2 MMS

IP: 193.113.200.195

Port: 9201

Mmsc Address: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
