Guest dheeraj Posted July 10, 2003 Report Posted July 10, 2003 hi all, i read your post regarding the re-starting problem when emulator is started. a user named "Ladama" posted this issue and he later suggested the following solution to avoid rebooting when emulator starts --- Set the value of following registry key to 0 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CURRENTCONTROLSET/CONTROL/SESSION MANAGER/MEMORY MANAGEMENT/ Earlier i was using windows xp and never had such problems. lately i started using windows 2000 and my machine restarts each time i try to run application for smartphone using eMbedded VC++ either on emulator or actual SPV device. i tried your registry tweak thing mentioned above but found that my value is already set to 0 and i am facing the problem. any kind of help will be appreciated thx in advance dheeraj [email protected]
Guest brum Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 I had the same problem - I was advised to do the following - it worked :) "Here is a link to a Windows CE 4.2 emulator in case you don't have access to the Pocket PC 2003 emulator yet. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en "
Guest Spike Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 That download doesn't seem to work any more. Is there another way to fix this problem?
