is there an application available to convert PDF files of a drawing, into .dwg files? I know they would be single layer, but...

Any thoughts?

But alas I don't know of one.

Not sure you can dude !

Slightly off (off) topic... Does anybody know if there is any way in autocad of "extruding" a ruled surface into a solid ?

Been beating me brains out all day trying to model a part and failing miserably !

PS I'm using autocad 2002....... ?????? :)

Try GTX Raster CAD!!! You may have to convert the PDF into a TIFF or something, but GTX will do the trick.

Re. extruding surface, try Autodesk Inventor... ;-)
