Broken MMS or Me?

HI,

Was wondering if anyone can help.

I am trying to take a picture with MMS, read all the stuff about creating then cancelling message but my problem is this:

1. Go to MMS Message

2. Do Edit Insert Picture

3. Pick New from Camera

4: Get viewfinder and hit capture

5: Picture on screen so i hit select

6: Asks me for a file name so i use default one

6: Go to the previous screen where i picked my camera and now has the picture but instead of a thumbnail its a red X like in IE when you can DL the image.

Try to select that picture but it just hangs

and hangs

and hangs

So remove battery

It seems i can take pictures and save them, (a bit disappointing).

Am i doing something wrong? any one else had this?

The red X sometimes appears for me, but only for a second or so while it loads the thumbnail, then all is well...

Worked it out, i didnt realise it always tries to write to the SD Card if its in so because i had locked my card it couldnt write to it. Shame it just hangs though rather than giving you an error.

Inability to access a data store (ie. a disk drive for a big computer or in this case a SD card) will crash most programs, leading me to believe that it's really difficult to program the correct error handling for it. MS seem to have gotten around it in the newer versions of windows, but not the new smartphone platform unfortunately.

Example:

In win 98, start copying a file from a CD.

Eject the CD in mid-transfer

BLUE SCREEN! :lol:
