Guest Edgar_Deniz Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 Hi, please help me using virtual dub, so I can convert a movie, so it is small enough to be played on the phone (with ok quality)! I have tried the virtaul dub settings made by Eastman, but for me the movie only grows bigger and fill over 1 GB) Please help me
Guest Brody Posted July 11, 2003 Report Posted July 11, 2003 Are u selecting the DivX codec for the video encoding??
Guest Edgar_Deniz Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 Ok, thanks! Now the video part is ok, but what about the audio??? Shall I use direct stream copy or full processing mode? If I use direct stream copy, the audio part is huge, but if I use full processing mode I get this error: "Error initializing audio stream compression: the requested conversation is not possible" Please help
Guest Brody Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 Full Processing Mode Audio>Compression Then try one of the DivX audio methods :) Hope this helps!
Guest Edgar_Deniz Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 When I try it I got this Error: The operation cannot continue as the target audio codec has jammed and is not compressing data Codec state for driver "DivX ;-) WMA Audio Compressor"
Guest Brody Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 With the smiley? (just kidding!) Which audio codec are u using?
Guest Edgar_Deniz Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 No, not with the smiley  I use DivX WMA Audio 2 (96 kbps, 44 kHz, stereo 12KB/s
Guest Brody Posted July 13, 2003 Report Posted July 13, 2003 I get the same error with that audio codec so don't worry! Try using wma audio v2 @ 64kbps, 44khz, stereo for video (8kb/s) That should work just fine :)
