To run ringtones from the SD card you need to use the registry editor to edit Ringetone0 and point it to Storage Card.

Have you looked at the Sound Tweaks section in Registry Tweaks.

Your right hottee_male - it's another tweaky app by midnight.

I hadn't seen this file but I've installed it now.

Basically download and unzip normal.prof to the PC.

Copy normal.prof from the PC to SPV directory IPSM/Application Data/Profiles and overwrite the existing file.

Goto Programs - Settings -Profiles and edit Normal.

Change Strorage Card to Storage Card(filename.wav)

Does this help ?

You must have the new normal.prov file copied to the SPV and a saved wav file on your SD card.

For this example we'll use song.wav

From the SPV goto Programs - Settings - Profiles.

Highlight Normal (which should also be ticked) and then Menu - edit.

You should see

Name:

Normal

Ring type:

Vibrate and ring

Storage Card

Change Storage Card to Storage Cardsong.wav

Or if you had put song.wav in a directory called Wavs on the SD card then you would change it to Storage CardWavssong.wav

You should have unzipped the file Normal.prov to the PC and then copied it to Mobile Device - IPSM/Application Data/Profiles and said YES to overwrite existing file.

If you go to the Normal.prof file on the SPV with Windows Explorer then does that file have todays date on it ?

When you first copied the file to the SPV - did it ask you to overwrite an existing file ? Is it possible that your SPV keeps the original Normal.prov in another directory.
