My SPV has come to the status you can’t restart.

The initial Orange sunset screen goes on and it stays, the only way to turn it off is take out the battery. If you power on again it stays on the first sunset screen.

Is their any way to do the hard reset of the SPV phone?

Thanks! Ivan

Welcome to the site ;)

For information on Hard Reset just click on the words :)

but your problem may not be fixed by doing that. You may need to either try installing the latest

update or more drasticaly the phone may need to be replaced under warranty :D

I had the same problem back in April 2003. My SPV got stuck on the Orange Screen (Awkward time to happen, cause i was just demonstrating the capabilities of the phone to a die hard Noki4 user  ). Try soft reset a couple of times. Battery on, battery off. I also tried the hard reset, but it still got stuck on Orange start up screen. Had tp phone up OCS and they then sent me a replacement handset.

I've had the same problem with my spv e100! I found a solution: take off the battery for 5-6 hours (I suggest you for a whole night) and then replace it. Your spv will start again :)
