Trying to update Red-E

using the direct USB method - got program and instructions off everlink ftp site, and presseds the update button.

It gets to waiting for reboot part, and my phone doesn't reboot

it then gets to check ... and fails

I was hoping to update this way as it is easier than doing the SD Card way, especially as i don't have US adapter to plug it into mains.

any ideas?

I've never been able to get the auto-updater to work, same problems as you. I've always used the relatively easy SD card method. Having said that, i still can't get 1055 build to install...
